Substrate Treatment:
All surfaces to be coated shall be clean, dry and without contaminants. The surface shall be evaluated and treated according to ISO8504 standard.
Bare steel: Sand blasting to meet Sa2.5 (ISO8501-1:2007) standard. Depending on the environment of non-submerged part, it is acceptable to polish by power tools to meet at least St2.0 (ISO8501-1:2007) standard.
Steel coated with workshop primer: make sure workshop primer surface is clean, dry
and undamaged.
Coated surface: applied on clean, dry, undamaged and compatible primer only.
